IIPP Compliance In 1991, SB 198 was passed in California. This bill requires all California employers to have a written Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) that, among other things, requires scheduled and periodic inspections of the workplace safety precautions. We can assist you in writing an IIPP, if you do not have one in place, or in reviewing your existing IIPP for compliance with state and federal laws.
Safety Committee It is sound management practice to establish a Safety Committee which includes employees from throughout the company. This committee is responsible for conducting inspections on a regular basis and determining corrective action. HR Advisor offers a comprehensive program to establish and train this committee for your company and provide administration if required. .
Industrial Accident Reports Accident records must be maintained as required by OSHA and Worker’s Compensation. Quarterly OSHA Reports need to be made and employers with 10 or more employees must maintain records of occupational injuries and illnesses as they occur. The HR Advisors Safe and Healthy Workplace program provides for guidance on the proper administration and management of this reporting requirement.
CPR and First Aid Training HR Advisors provides a program for your staff to be trained in this life-saving technique. It is recommended that at least one to two individuals in every company be trained in CPR and first aid procedures and depending on the size and structure of the company, additional employees be trained as well.
Disaster Preparedness Program In addition to an Injury and illness Prevention Plan, California requires companies with 10 or more employees to have a Disaster Preparedness Plan. HR Advisors can provide and train your employees in a Disaster Preparedness Program for your company.
